For over 20 years we’ve been helping residents stay well and warm at home, and save money on their household bills. These are some of the ways we can support you when you sign up for a home visit or phone appointment:

• Advice on reducing energy use at home, included energy saving tips and how to use heating and hot water controls to save money
• Advice and support on suppliers or tariffs including explaining statements, energy caps, standing charges and unit rates
• Supporting with accessing the water discounts or Priority Services Register
• Support with applications for energy or water debt relief
• Advice and support to help apply for the installation of larger efficiency measures such as insulation and boiler upgrades
• Referring you to other support organisations within your community if needed - such as food parcels, fuel vouchers, white goods
• Delivering small efficiency measures, such as LED lightbulbs, draught proofing, powerdown units, CO alarms, warm kits, power cut kits and more!

If you use British Sign Language (BSL), we can provide free energy-saving advice via video call with a BSL interpreter.

Language interpreters for non-English speakers are also available.

Every day, Green Doctors help people stay warm, reduce their bills and make their homes healthier to live in.

Since April 2025, Green Doctors have supported more than 700 households and attended 98 community events across the South, helping residents save money, improve their wellbeing and reduce their environmental impact.

Our Green Doctor team help residents in Kent, Medway and Thames of any income and tenure. We support you through home visits and telephone consultations to ensure you are keeping warm, healthy, safe and saving money on your energy bills. Our advice is bespoke for each bill payer and we visit to review your energy usage, taking into consideration your personal circumstances and unique heating systems.
